Un Pasto Sospeso

"A Suspended Meal" was created to fight hunger and poverty in Italy, inspired by the ancient Neapolitan tradition of "suspended coffee". If once a paid coffee was left for those who couldn't afford it, today this gesture of solidarity extends to something even more essential: food.

The initiative aims to guarantee a hot meal and concrete support to families in difficulty, especially in a historical moment in which the economic crisis and the consequences of the pandemic have pushed over 5.6 million Italians to the brink of absolute poverty. Through the distribution of food kits, "A Suspended Meal" offers not only basic necessities, but also a sign of hope and dignity to those who have been brought to their knees by circumstances.

At the heart of this project is the desire to create a solidarity network that unites people of different cultures and nationalities: a single big hug that, with a small gesture, can transform a moment of desperation into an opportunity for comfort and rebirth .

"A Suspended Meal" is therefore much more than a simple food collection: it is a movement of humanity and generosity, born to remind us that no one should ever be faced with the impossible choice between survival and dignity.
