SENSORA

Totale raccolto $24.453,72

SENSORA is a chef-led dinner and live music evening; a unique, immersive cultural experience raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity. It is a fully immersive experience engaging all the senses; through food, music, visuals and storytelling working together to inspire and raise money.

SENSORA is built on real family experience. This is Mark and James’ story.

James: "Our story is simple, and it’s brutal. We lost both our parents to glioblastoma. Our mum died aged just 42, less than four months after diagnosis, at Easter. We were 11, nine and six. In our twenties, our dad was diagnosed. The same again: glioblastoma. It is extraordinarily rare and deeply cruel for both parents to be taken by the same diagnosis. Dad had seen what mum endured and made a clear decision. He declined treatment and died within six weeks.

This is why SENSORA exists. Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40 in the UK. There are no lifestyle links and 35 families every day are told someone they love has a brain tumour. Everything we’re creating with SENSORA is rooted in the brain, food, music, light and sound, bringing people closer to the reality of what’s at stake."
