Don't miss your chance to bid on this incredible piece of memorabilia!

This is an award for Guns N' Roses "Appetite For Destruction".

What a story, They said it was a dud. Geffen Records was walking away because it only sold 200,000 copies out of the box. It debuted at 182 on the Billboard Top 200. MTV wouldn't play a video. Radio stations wouldn't play Guns N' Roses' music.

Geffen's GM Al Coury convinced MTV to play the "Welcome to the Jungle" video at least one time three nights in a row. After radio stations wouldn't play the song and MTV had rejected the video, Welcome to the Jungle immediately became the most requested video on MTV and the radio stations followed. A full year after its release, APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION jumped to #1 on Billboard and stayed on the charts for a whopping 147 weeks.
