Fernando Alonso is a Spanish racing driver born on July 29, 1981 in Oviedo, Spain. He is considered one of the most talented and successful drivers in the history of Formula 1.
The most important phase in Fernando Alonso's career was the time he spent with the Ferrari team. Alonso raced for Ferrari from 2010 to 2014, becoming one of its most iconic drivers.
In his first year with Ferrari, in 2010, Alonso fought to the last race for the world title, but had to settle for second place behind Sebastian Vettel. He continued to be a contender for the title in the following seasons, demonstrating consistency and great skill in the races.
The most significant moment of his Ferrari experience came in the 2012 season, when he waged an extraordinary fight with Vettel for the title, which ended in Vettel's favour after the very last race of the championship.
Despite failing to win a world title with Ferrari, Alonso proved to be an extraordinary driver, capable of getting the most from the car's performance. His talent and dedication have made him a motorsport icon and he remains one of the most admired and respected drivers in the history of Formula 1.
