White Mathilda
In 2010, White Mathilda opened support offices in Desio, Cesano Boscone and Trezzano sul Naviglio; in 2011, additional offices were opened in Arcore, Bollate, Cesate, Paderno Dugnano and Limbiate, operating across the territories of Monza and Brianza and Milan, while also collaborating in other areas of Italy.
White Mathilda is actively engaged in the fight against gender-based violence and collaborates with local authorities, social services, law enforcement agencies, the judiciary, the Monza Prison and the Monza and Milan Superintendent Offices, schools of all levels, ATS and ASST health authorities, general practitioners and ecclesiastical institutions.
Since 2017, it has been part of the “Artemide” Interinstitutional Network of the Province of Monza and Brianza. The organization adheres to the national helpline number 1522.
Currently, there are two Anti-Violence Centers located in Desio (MB) and Seregno (MB), as well as a support office in Paderno Dugnano (MI).
In 2023, White Mathilda, together with the Carabinieri of Desio, inaugurated “La Stanza Luce,” a dedicated space where women can report abuse in complete safety.
In 2024, the organization launched information and training sessions within several companies for HR managers on inclusion and Diversity Management, as well as workshops for employees focused on the prevention of gender-based violence.
To date, White Mathilda has assisted over 3,000 women.
